Our take
Building my own putter, I chose this Maltby stepless chrome shaft for its customization options. The 3/8" offset is perfect for my stroke. At 122g, it feels balanced and the mid torque keeps the face stable. The raw length gives flexibility to trim. However, you need fitting skills to avoid mistakes. The stepless design looks clean but scratches easily. For the price, it's a solid component if you know what you're doing.
